Solo sighting
Wearing glasses under his UA hat, and sporting a buttoned-up polo shirt under his dressy gray sweater, it was hard to recognize Solomon Hill sitting about 10 rows up from the Arizona bench on Thursday at Stanford.
"@solohill at maples going incognito dressed as @solohill's dad,” tweeted UA fan Jonathan Zoob in response to that look.
But maybe Hill didn’t need to be seen Thursday to have an effect.
“I never lost to Stanford, so I thought I would bring them some luck,” Hill said Friday, after the Pacers shot around in San Francisco.
Playing in the Eastern Conference means it’s a rarity that Hill is in the same location as the Wildcats, but the Pacers were in town to face the Warriors on Friday, so Hill took advantage.

“It was fun to watch,” he said of the Stanford game. “It was definitely a good opportunity to see the guys and give them some encouragement. It’s a long season.”
