Friends of Tucson's Birthplace kicked off its fundraising for the Mission Garden on Saturday with a ceremony that included its partners - the city of Tucson, Pima County, the University of Arizona, Desert Survivors Nursery, the Tucson Audubon Society, Watershed Management Group, Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Alliance, Desert Archaeology, Native Seeds-SEARCH and Sonoita Vineyards.
