On Jan. 21, 2016, Customs and Border Protection officers at the Mariposa crossing in Nogales seized nearly 29 pounds of heroin, worth about $404,000, and nearly 6 pounds of meth, valued at about $16,000, from a Nissan sedan being driven by a permanent resident alien living in Nogales, Arizona.
