Eller College offering entrepreneur courses
The University of Arizona's McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the Eller College of Management will launch three new online certificate courses in entrepreneurship on Sunday.
The distant-learning courses are designed for people seeking to commercialize an innovation, start a small business or expand a current venture.
The online courses are open to the public through the non-credit arm of the UA's Outreach College (outreachcollege.arizona. edu).
Credit-bearing versions of each course will also be available in coming months, the UA said in a news release.

The Southern Arizona Green Chamber of Commerce will lease retail space on the ground floor at 44 E. Broadway, a building being bought by Providence Service Corp.
SAGCC plans to move into the new office space by this fall, and will make it a "Green Resources Center" to teach Tucsonans about sustainability issues and reducing local carbon footprints, said its president, Melissa Black.
Tucson VA to install photovoltaic systems
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs says it will use federal Recovery Act funds to install solar photovoltaic systems at its Tucson facilities, among other projects nationwide to promote energy conservation.
No dollar figure was given for the Tucson project.
