Pandora Jewelry opens at La Encantada center
Pandora Jewelry, a Danish jewelry line, has opened a storefront location at La Encantada shopping center, 2905 E. Skyline Drive.
Pandora sells handcrafted, customizable bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces and other charms in sterling silver and 14- karat gold. The new store is on the upper level of La Encantada across from Anthropologie. For more information, call 577-7263.
Chamber extends time for award nominations
The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce has extended the nomination period for its Man and Woman of the Year and Founders Award. Nomination forms and supplemental materials are now due by 5 p.m. Friday.
The awards honor those "who have distinguished themselves for active support of community projects, for aiding the less fortunate, and for living in a manner that inspires affection, respect and admiration," the chamber says. Bruce Dusenberry and Cindy Parseghian were the 2009 Man and Woman of the Year.

Phoenix home prices off 6%; dip is 3rd straight
PHOENIX - Home prices in the Phoenix area dropped by 6 percent in October compared with the same period in 2009, the third month in a row that prices have slumped.
The price declines follow a year of relative stability, an Arizona State University report said.
