2nd BJ's Restaurant planned to go up on East Broadway
BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse plans a second Tucson location, this one near Park Place mall.
The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based chain restaurant has signed a lease for 9,000 square feet on the southeast corner of East Broadway and Craycroft Road, said CB Richard Ellis, a commercial real estate firm.
The restaurant plans to demolish a former El Paso Bar B Que Co. and construct a new building that's expected to open in mid-2010.
Nancy McClure of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, K-Gam Broadway Craycroft LLC, in negotiating the lease. Terry Dahlstrom of Volk Co. Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.
The area's first BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is on North Oracle Road south of the Tucson Mall.
