Deputy U.S. Marshal Chase White, 41, was shot and killed on Thursday, Nov. 29.

White was serving a felony arrest warrant for 26-year-old Ryan Schlesinger. 

According to court documents, authorities approached the home and attempted to force entry when Schlesinger fired through a window, striking White. He died on the way to the hospital.

White had worked for the agency since 2015. He leaves behind a wife and four children.
