AZNightBuzz looks drastically different today, as you have probably noticed.
NightBuzz, along with StarNet, gets a streamlined new look and updated technology starting today.
The redesigned site is the culmination of work by employees of the Arizona Daily Star, Tucson's Newspapers, our parent company Lee Enterprises, and other companies.
NightBuzz now falls under the StarNet blanket which means easier access to the site from StarNet and vice versa.
You'll now be able to easily navigate to the news and sports sections of StarNet from NightBuzz.
You'll still be able to find all of Caliente's stories on NightBuzz but we'll now offer more music, movie and general entertainment news for you updated throughout the day every day.
We'll also now be able to better highlight video, photo galleries and other multimedia that was hard to navigate to on the old site.

Improved site search (powered by Yahoo) is one of the main benefits of the redesign. Yahoo also provides the ad-serving platform for the site, and our participation in a consortium with Yahoo and other publishers across the nation is designed to use the web's advanced technical abilities to customize your ad experience.
Change is not always easy to accept, and that will certainly apply to those site users who had favorite pages bookmarked or who had settled into familiar patterns of usage. Give yourself a few days to get acclimated.
The main navigation links on the site are in the bar just underneath the "Arizona Daily Star" logo in the page header. Click on the black triangle alongside a section to see the list of subsections related to a main category of the site.
A Web site such as this is a complicated thing, bringing together data feeds from numerous sources. We've tested what we can test; some parts of the site weren't populated until we went live, and testing was not possible. While we've been assured that all these systems have been implemented elsewhere successfully, experience tells us there will be a few problems. Bear with us while we work them out.
