How to donate
The Tucson blood donor center at 7139 E. Broadway has extended operating hours this week for whole blood donors — 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Hours for the blood donor center at the Foothills Mall, 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd. will remain the same.
Call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or to find a blood drive.
Individuals who are at least 16 years of age (16- and 17-year-olds require parental permission), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to give blood. A Red Cross blood donor card or other form of ID is required.
