Tucson turned out for last fall's "Boots In the Park" one-day country music festival — so much so that the organizers are coming back.
And they're bringing a bigger event this fall when they add their "Party in the Park" the same weekend at Rillito Park, 4502 N. First Ave.

Both festivals are produced by California-based Activated Events, which puts on food and music festivals in California, Arizona and New Mexico.
This will be Khalifa's first Tucson show since he played the Pima County Fair in 2024. That show came 13 years after he made his Tucson debut in 2011 at the AVA at Casino del Sol.
He heads a lineup that includes Waka Flocka Flame, rapper B.O.B. and Petey Pablo, with additional guests to be announced.
