Actor and musician David Duchovny will be live in concert at Rialto Theatre on Sept. 24, the fifth stop on an eight-city tour.
"Duchovny crafts eloquent, alt-rock-kissed country-folk in the vein of Wilco and the Wallflowers," the Rialto says.
Tickets went on sale Friday, June 6, for $33.50 to $61.35 at rialtotheatre.com/tm-event/david-duchovny.
Gestureland, his most recent album, is "a solid collection of rock songs tinged with country, folk and Americana, even if the guy who created them is primarily known as brooding skeptic Fox Mulder ('The X-Files') and music-loving mess Hank Moody ('Californication')," USA Today wrote in a 2021 review.

American Songwriter's review was a bit more reserved: "Duchovny possesses a serviceable singing voice as well as a capable backing band. ... Ultimately, Gestureland is a quality effort, one well worth a listen and several revisits after that. With a sound that comes across as weathered but resolute, it’s dutifully distinctive."
Duchovny also released the albums "Hell or Highwater" and "Every Third Thought" in 2015 and 2018.
