The mulberry tree now in the front yard of the Ernesto V. Felix home in Nogales, Sonora, formerly grew in a park which disappeared when the border project got under way. Mr. Felix saved the tree and had it transplanted on his own grounds.

Hardwood floors are seen in the living and dining areas of the home and a rosy beige carpet partly covers the floor. Sofa is burnt orange with varicolored cushions providing accent.

Flagstone is used in the bar at one end of the family room. Bar top is Formica. Indirect lighting is used.

Tones of gold, white, red, green and brown show up in the draperies used in living and dining room. Dining room set is in blond with chairs upholstered in lime green wool.

Quilted silk spreads in a burnt orange tone are used in the guest bedroom. Bedroom wing of the home is completely carpeted.

A flagstone planter marks the breakfast area. Appliances in the kitchen are yellow and chintz window curtains are in a provincial print on a gold background. Seats on breakfast chairs are in coral. Floor is tiled.

Blond furniture is used in the master bedroom where draperies are in gold silk. Quilted spreads are in tones of gold, brown and green. Carpeting is beige in tone.
