SCOTTSDALE — Scottsdale police say they have arrested a man suspected of entering young women’s apartments and watching them while they slept.
Ben Andrew Fuchs of Phoenix was taken into custody Thursday so police could collect physical evidence. A police statement says he then admitted to being the man who entered the downtown Scottsdale apartments of five women between June and November through unlocked doors. The 24-year-old was booked on five counts of felony trespass.
Scottsdale police patrolling apartment complexes where incidents took place questioned him in October and he became a focus of their investigation. They say they followed him and he displayed “predatory behavior,” although they didn’t see him go into any apartments.
