Oro Valley will host the USA Triathlon’s Duathlon Nationals today, causing some road closures and traffic delays, officials said.
The bicycling-running event is from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some 800 participants are expected.
Innovation Park Drive from Tangerine Road to Rancho Vistoso Boulevard will be closed to motorists from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There also will be traffic delays in the area to allow groups of cyclists to pass.
Officers with the Oro Valley Police Department will conduct traffic control and provide updates on road closures and traffic issues via Twitter and Facebook.
