A man charged in the slaying of his mother admitted to strangling her and burying her in a shallow grave because he didn't like the way she was "looking at him," according to court documents.
Jacob Isaac Bynog, 32, told sheriff's detectives his mother, Patricia Ann Bynog, 65, was "evil and she needed to die" before he grabbed her by the neck and started choking her, an interim complaint states.
Bynog put her on the ground and continued to choke her and then he put her in a room for a few days before burying her in the backyard of her home, a detective wrote in the complaint.
Jacob Bynog lived with his mother in the 8400 block of South Fillmore Road, near Ryan Airfield, authorities said.
Patricia Bynog's body was found by deputies Monday afternoon in a shallow grave behind the house, after her daughter reported her missing Saturday.
