East Broadway and South Craycroft Road are shut down this afternoon and will remain that way possibly until 2:30 p.m. while police investigate a shooting.
The shooting reportedly occurred in the 1400 block of South Woodland Avenue — near East 22nd Street and Craycroft — at an apartment complex around 1:16 p.m., said Officer Chuck Rydzak, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were unclear and police did not have information on the severity of the victim’s injuries.
He left the apartment complex in a vehicle and was located near Broadway and Craycroft.
