SCOTTSDALE — Fire has damaged at least 12 units at a north Scottsdale apartment complex. The Red Cross is helping eight people who lost their residences.
More than 50 firefighters from Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe battled the fire near 94th Street and Via Linda.
The Scottsdale Fire Department says there were no injuries to residents or firefighters. Crews remain on the scene mopping up hot spots.
Red Cross volunteers are providing the families with the means to obtain food, clothing and other essentials.
