The Community Foundation of Southern Arizona is accepting applications for its 2014-15 general scholarship program.
The scholarships are available to any student who attends high school in Pima, Cochise or Santa Cruz counties.
Students who attend a high school in Yuma, Pinal, Graham or Greenlee counties are also eligible, as long as the school is south of the Gila River.
The scholarships were created for students who are good, but not top-of-the-class students who can demonstrate financial need, motivation and academic potential.
The award is $3,000 for a four-year school or $1,000 for a two-year vocational school or college.
A student must plan to study full-time at an accredited university, community college or vocational school.
