A 28-year-old man was killed after the truck he was driving north on Interstate 19, south of San Xavier Road left the roadway and rolled, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 1:30 p.m., said Officer Raul Molina, a Department of Public Safety spokesman.
The victim was a Tucson man, and his identity is pending until next of kin are notified.
Officials do not know why the truck exited off the right side of the roadway. The truck rolled and struck a tree, Molina said.
The victim was the sole occupant of the truck, said Molina.
