Kids can hunt for eggs, get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny (it’s $5 per picture) and visit with live alpacas at a special event Saturday at the Bear Canyon Open Air Market.
The event, at 8987 E. Tanque Verde Road, will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be face painting, a clown and games including an egg walk and egg toss. Entertainment will include live yodelers and dancing. Food for sale will include chile rellenos, tamales, soup, hot dogs, bratwurst, shaved ice and cotton candy.
Last year’s event raised $1,000 for the Tucson Cold Wet Noses dog-rescue group. This year’s proceeds will go to Therapeutic Riding of Tucson, which provides equine programs for special-needs kids.
