What: Ben’s Bells promote kindness and community involvement. Each week a person who makes Tucson better is “belled.”

Why: For making and donating more than 350 handmade quilts as a member of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Piecemakers quilting group. The group donates the quilts to the Linus Project, which provides them to underprivileged children in local hospitals and shelters.
