A gas line break has prompted evacuations, road closures and traffic delays on Snyder Road, east of Sabino Canyon.
Courtesy Pima County SheriffA Southwest Gas Co. crew repaired a gas line break in the area of Sabino Canyon and East Snyder Road Thursday afternoon.
Snyder has reopened between East Moonstone Drive and North Rockliff Road, Deputy Tom Peine, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman said.
East Snyder Road also has opened at North Shadow Valley Drive.
The repair involved a four to six inch gas line break and a small number of evacuations took place in the area, Rural/Metro Fire Department officials said.
