EL MIRAGE, Ariz. — Firefighters say a toddler in El Mirage is dead after drowning in his family's swimming pool.
El Mirage Fire Department officials say the 2-year-old boy's family was performing CPR when first responders arrived Sunday around 9 a.m.
Authorities say the boy was transported to a hospital, where he died.
They say it's unclear how long he was in the pool, which had no fencing.
Fire officials did not release the child's name.
