A crash near the Prince Road exit of Interstate 10 has caused traffic to back up to Cortaro Farms Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The collision, which occurred nearly two hours ago, was blocking the right two lanes but was moved onto the shoulder an hour ago. However, due to the delays caused by the lane closures, traffic is still very slow moving.
ADOT is advising drivers to consider using other routes, as the area will still take some time to clear.
No details about the nature of the collision are available at this time.
