If you're headed to the Fourth Avenue Street Fair today or Sunday, get ready for the usual and unusual assortment of cool stuff, entertainment and food. Also, get ready for a new parking strategy.
This year the Fourth Avenue Merchants Association will provide a free shuttle from the Pennington Street Garage, 110 E. Pennington St.
Coming from the University of Arizona? You can catch the trolley at Main Gate Square, 814 E. University Blvd.
Or you can pedal to the fair and leave your cycle with the valet bike attendants at Seventh Street and Fourth Avenue.
Additionally, neighborhood parking permits in the area from Speedway south to 10th Street and Stone Avenue east to Euclid Avenue are not enforced during the fair days, according to the Fourth Avenue Street Fair Web site. Find more details at www.fourthavenue.org/fairs/ general-information/
