1868: The eighth and final treaty between the Navajo Nation and the United States is concluded at Fort Sumner, New Mexico. This treaty includes the establishment of the present Navajo Indian Reservation.
1906: The mule-drawn street car makes its last run to the gates of the University of Arizona next to the electric car, which went into operation five days earlier.
