Due to a severe, ongoing systems outage, production of the print Arizona Daily Star and its e-edition was curtailed today.
You will notice that the newspaper is organized differently than usual because of the need to reduce the number of pages. Also, several features you're used to seeing are omitted. Among the changes, Opinion has been reduced from two pages to one, business coverage is confined to the daily markets roundup and national and world news is offered mostly in digest form.
Our priority, as always, is local news and sports, and the local reports for both are presented in their entirety. A complete entertainment section, Caliente, also is included in today's edition.
Please bear with us while this technical fault is diagnosed and repaired. Your patience is appreciated.
As always, look for the latest news updates and more at Tucson.com
