Local entrepreneur and rancher Forrest Logan Metz died on Friday. He was 70.
Metz, a third-generation Tucsonan, was a University of Arizona graduate and founder of Urban Engineering, an independent civil engineering planning and surveying company. Metz also built businesses in other fields, including real estate development and telecommunications .
Metz is survived by his wife, Kim, children Forrest Metz Jr. (Annalise Moser), Jenifer Metz (Andrew Flores) and grandsons Wilkin and Quincy.
A viewing is set for 5-7 p.m. Monday at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road. A memorial service is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at East Lawn.
