Photos: Placing US flags at Tucson's Evergreen Cemetery for Memorial Day
Several dozen volunteers from the VFW, American Legion, DAV, Elks, Boys and Girls Scouts and Citi place 6,000 US flags on veteran stones at Evergreen Cemetery, Tucson, Ariz.

Several groups, including VFW Post #10188, American Legion Post #7 and #132, DAV Chapter #4, Elks Lodges #385, #2532 and #2663, members of the Boys and Girl Scouts and Citibank placed 6,000 flags on sites throughout the cemetery. Monday's ceremonies at the cemetery are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. near the main flagpole, but parking near the spot is limited, so the VFW's Abraham Rodriguez encourages arriving early.
