Massive bridge over Gila River
Crews at work on a $12.7 million bridge on U.S. 70 over the Gila River between Safford and Globe to replace a steel bridge built in 1957. The new bridge is 1,800-feet-long, one of the longest in Arizona. It's scheduled for completion in Spring, 2013.
