Tucson police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting last week outside an east side bar.
Marquis Hall was booked Sunday night in to the Pima County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to a news release issued by the Tucson Police Department.
Matthew Vital, 26, and another man were shot Jan. 19 outside the Hideout Sports Bar, 1110 S. Sherwood Village Drive, following a fight in the parking lot, police said.
According to police, Vital and the other man were witnessing a fight between two women when a third man walked up and shot the two men. Vital was pronounced dead at University Medical Center of a gunshot wound to the head, while the other man was shot in the chest but survived, police said.
