A Tucson man was sentenced to life at the Arizona state mental hospital after pleading guilty to killing his wife.
George Majewski, 62, pleaded guilty except insane for first-degree murder, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. The charge stemmed from an April 2015 incident in which deputies found Majewski's wife, 50-year-old Kerman Dubash, dead of strangulation at their home on the 12800 block of North Como Drive.
Majewski faced one count of first-degree murder/domestic violence for taking Dubash off of life support.
Dubash worked as a veterinarian at Pusch Ridge Pet Clinic.
