A man is facing first-degree murder after his wife was taken off life support at Oro Valley Hospital Monday night, authorities said.
On April 12, deputies responded to an unknown problem in the 12800 block of North Como Drive and found Kerman Dubash, 50, unresponsived in the home, said Deputy Tracy Suitt, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman Tuesday.
Deputies performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation ond Dubash and she was taken to Oro Valley Hospital and put on life support.
The neighborhood is near North La Cholla Boulevard and West Moore Road.Â
Dubash's husband, George A. Majewski, 62, was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder and booked into the Pima County jail, authorities said.Â
After Dubash was taken off life support, Majewski was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder/domestic violence, Suitt said.

Dubash worked as a veterinarian at Pusch Ridge Pet Clinic.

In 2009, Majewski made threatening statements to the owner of a pet he had treated and another Tucson veterinarian, documents from a board hearing stated.
