1 Suspicious activity was reported at 1:15 p.m. June 30 at Mail N More, 1325 W. Duval Mine Road. An employee told police a customer attempted to mail a package that smelled suspicious. She opened the package after the customer left and found a tin can containing a plastic bag of marijuana. The customer's address was inside the box on catalogs used for packing materials. According to the report, the marijuana weighed 8.7 ounces. The incident is under investigation.
2 Vandalism was reported at 12:43 p.m. June 30 at Anamax Park, 17501 S. Camino de Las Quintas. A town employee told police an electrical outlet on a baseball field had been damaged. He said it would cost about $30 for the repairs.
3 Road rage was reported at 5:06 p.m. June 29 at Wal-Mart, 18680 S. Nogales Highway. A motorist told police the following: She was cut off by a silver Nissan on her way to work. She honked at the driver and he slowed down. He stuck a black gun out of his window and gestured for her to pass him. The gun was never pointed directly at her, but she felt she would be shot if she passed the car. She drove into the store parking lot and called police when she saw the driver had pulled into the lot from another entrance. Police searched the lot but were unable to find the car or the driver.

4 A woman was cited on suspicion of shoplifting at 5:11 p.m. June 29 at Fry's, 15950 S. Rancho Sahuarita Blvd. A manager told police he saw the woman leave the store with a bag of unpaid merchandise. He said he tried to grab her when she left the store and injured his hand. He said the woman left her purse behind when she ran away. Police got the woman's address from identification in her purse. According to the report, deputies found her hiding under a bed in her house. She admitted to shoplifting at the store.

5 Theft was reported at 8:43 a.m. July 9 in the 9800 block of South Camino de la Calinda. A resident told deputies someone stole two patio chairs and two footstools from his front yard.
6 Fraud was reported at 3:29 p.m. July 7 in the 700 block of West Grantham Street. A resident said he was checking his bank account online at 5:30 a.m. and noticed a fraudulent transaction for $1,500. He told deputies he contacted his bank and was told the transaction occurred at 3:40 p.m. July 6. He said the bank deactivated his debit card and would reimburse him.
7 Larceny was reported at 9:53 p.m. July 3 at Dairy Queen, 13160 E. Colossal Cave Road. The owner told deputies the following: A customer placed an order at 9:30 p.m. and then went into the bathroom. He stole four wallets from lockers inside the employee bathroom and left in a hurry. The employees left before deputies arrived. They canceled their credit and debit cards but were concerned because the thief had their identifications. According to the report, the owner was not at the store at the time of the theft.
8 A 2002 Dodge Stratus was reported stolen at 7:23 p.m. July 3 in the 11400 block of South Preserve Drive. Deputies found the car on the same street as the victim's house with the lights on. A woman stepped out from behind a nearby utility box. She identified herself as the car owner. The deputy commanded her to put her hands up and searched her for weapons. She showed the deputy her driver's license. She said the car was parked in her driveway with the keys in the ignition. She told deputies she walked down the street after she called 911 to look for her car.
