A new program offering four full-tuition scholarships has been established for qualifying students admitted to St. Gregory College Preparatory School.
The Ingersoll Scholarships are named after St. Gregory's founding head of school, Russell Ingersoll, who led the school from 1980 to 1988.
The scholarships will go to two sixth-graders and two ninth-graders with high academic achievement who display leadership potential and strong character.
Applicants must currently attend public or charter schools, and their families must meet income restrictions.
The scholarships will follow the students all the years they attend St. Gregory, as long as income requirements are met.
An admission test will be offered to applicants Saturday.
For more information, contact the St. Gregory admissions office at 327-6395. Sign-ups for the test can be done at www.stgregoryschool.org or by phone.
