Both Tucson schools in Legacy Traditional Schools, a K-8 public charter network in Arizona, earned an ‘A’ academic grade for the 2025-26 school year, according to grades released by the Arizona Department of Education.
“These outstanding grades earned by Legacy Traditional Schools are a reflection of our dedicated teachers, administrators and staff members, committed students and involved families,” said Superintendent Mia Vega in a news release. “We are so proud of each of our schools for the excellent work they do preparing students to be lifelong learners.”
The East Tucson and Northwest Tucson schools are among Legacy’s 17 campuses to achieve an “A” grade for 2026-26. No Legacy brick-and-mortar campus earned lower than a ‘B,” a news release says.
