Tucson’s historic horse track enjoys its annual 8 weeks in the sun, every weekend until March 30

What: Quarter horse and thoroughbred racing.
When: Every weekend through March 30. Gates open at 11 a.m. and post time is 1 p.m. for the first race; the facility is open until 8 p.m.
Where: Rillito Race Track, 4502 N. First Ave.
Cost: Admission is $5 for the grandstand and $8 for the clubhouse. Children younger than 12 get in free in the grandstand and the clubhouse.
Etc.: The clubhouse features a full restaurant and bars, and there are snacks and beverages on both levels of the grandstand.
