St. Philip's Friends of Music presents the annual Bach Marathon: Two Days of Magnificent Music!
This year's program offers several ways to experience Johann Sebastian Bach's music on the church's Holtkamp pipe organ.
On Friday at 7:30 p.m., concert-goers will be treated to a selection of Bach's chamber music, featuring The Musical Offering, performed by noted local musicians Sandy Schwoebel, flute; Larry Lang, violin; Zoran Stilin, cello; and Jeffrey Campbell, harpsichord.
Saturday's program begins at noon with an "Organ In-Formance!" Jeffrey Campbell will provide a guided tour through the king of Instruments. Children are especially welcome.
Organist Elizabeth Lenti, from All Saints' Episcopal Church in Pasadena, Calif., will be featured at 1 p.m.

Her program includes two "Great" Preludes and Fugues, in C major and e minor, as well as Trio Sonata in C major and several chorale preludes. This Eastman- and Cleveland Institute of Music-trained organist is a prominent recitalist throughout the United States.
At 3 p.m., Organ Marathon Plus! features four local organists performing in a tag-team format. The slate includes Matthew Whitehouse, organist and choir director at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Sierra Vista; Norene Walters, organist and chancel choir director for Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Tucson; Ji-Sun Lee, music director at Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior in Green Valley; and Kenneth Kelley, who recently retired from his position as music director at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, N.J.
Admission is by donation (Suggested donation of $15).
