The Arizona Early Music Society continues its 31st season with a concert on Sunday by the Boston-based ensemble Les Sirènes, which will lead the audience on an exploration of the soprano voice and the Baroque vocal repertory.
The concert will be at 3 p.m. at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave.
The members of Les Sirènes, sopranos Kathryn Mueller and Kristen Watson, harpsichordist Michael Sponseller and cellist Cora Swenson, are young stars in the world of early music, with solo careers spanning the globe.
The ensemble made its debut in 2009 at an Arizona Early Music Society concert. This year it is among the six finalists chosen in the Early Music America/Naxos Recording Competition.
Sunday's program includes Handel's tour de force duet "Non, di voi non vo fidarmi" and the final duet from Monteverdi's opera L'incoronazi di Poppea.
