● Tohono Chul Park is looking for docents to teach, lead tours and interpret things for park visitors and through community outreach. Docents must complete 18 weeks of study, interacting with expert lecturers from the educational community. Docents in training will learn about the global and local weather patterns that create the world's deserts as well as our own. ● Amphi High Parent Association's Project Graduation committee is looking for volunteers to assist in various areas of this all-night celebration. The committee is looking for servers, security people, cashiers for the casino, carnival game attendants, behind-the-scenes assistants and cleanup crew members. Volunteers, who must be at least 21 years old, will set up the props, dining area and outside carnival. A mini-training session is provided at check-in. ● The Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers to lead regularly scheduled beginning birding hikes for the public. Birding guides must have moderate birding ability and be able to accurately identify birds found in the Sonoran Desert by sight or by ear.
