The SaddleBrooke Organ Club is sponsoring a free concert at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at MountainView Country Club, 38759 S. MountainView Blvd.
Robert Roman, a local organist who plays popular music, is returning for the fourth time to SaddleBrooke. He'll bring his Lowrey organ and his sense of humor to the concert, which will feature popular, big band and Latin-themed numbers.
The concert is free, but the organ club is asking for a donation of canned food for the local food bank. The last food drive filled three pickup trucks.
People can get free tickets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the MountainView ticket office in SaddleBrooke. Tickets are not required, but a ticket count will let the clubhouse staff know how many seats to set up.
The SaddleBrooke Organ Club is in its 14th year and consists of music enthusiasts including beginners, intermediates and a few professionals.
