The next round of murals from the Tucson Arts Brigade Downtown Mural Project have begun. Four murals will be added to the downtown landscape at 601 N. Stone Ave., 31 N. Sixth Ave., 35 W. Alameda Street and 86 E. Alameda Street.
Tucson Arts Brigade Downtown Mural Project
Racheal Rios, local artist, continues to work on a mural at 86 E. Alameda Street on April 19, 2019. Rios has teamed up with Carlos Valenzuela for the mural titled "Families Belong Together, Water and Thorns." The central figure is Mother Earth and the rest of mural makes reference to the desert landscape.
