Watch now: Thousands of sandhill cranes seen in southern AZ
The Arizona Game and Fish Department reported an estimated 30,000 migratory sandhill cranes at Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area near McNeal in early February. The cranes usually arrive in October and are expected to migrate north in March, according to the department.
