Nine employees of a Burger King in Lincoln, Nebraska, turned in their two-week notices and told the world as a result of a viral Facebook post.
The sign outside the restaurant said, ”We all quit. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
The manager, Rachael Flores, told KLKN-TV the sign was put up, then taken down Saturday morning after she was told by upper management to remove it.
Flores told KLKN-TV that employees had been working in the kitchen that hit 90 degrees and was without air conditioning for weeks. She said she ended up in the hospital being treated for dehydration and was told by her boss that she was being a “baby.”
Flores told the TV station that she was surprised that anybody even noticed the sign. She said the store is understaffed.
