Cholla the painting horse stands with one of his works, "The Big Red Buck," at his owner Renee Chambers' ranch in Reno, Nev. Cholla is a mustang and quarter horse mix whose artwork has been exhibited from San Francisco to New York. "Buck" is now headed to an art competition in Italy. Cholla will not go but will remain at home, contemplating his next masterpiece while gnawing his paintbrushes — between mouthfuls of hay.
