Early voting begins in Florida
Early voting began across Florida on Monday, with voters trickling into polling stations two weeks before Election Day. At a polling station in Ft. Lauderdale, some voters said they hoped to see a change of governor and senator. "We've got these MAGA republicans who have just taken over Washington and it's not right," said voter Alyasha Shakir. Some of Florida's closely watched races include the gubernatorial race, pitting incumbent governor Ron DeSantis against Charlie Crist, and a U.S. Senate seat, between Senator Marco Rubio and challenger Congresswoman Val Demings.
