Letter: The pardon

Nearly everyone expected and understood that President Biden would probably pardon his son because he has that power and it is his son. Unfortunately, in front of the whole nation, he repeatedly said that he would not pardon him. This was not a white lie or a pinkie promise, but a deliberate lie, a prevarication of the first order. With this blatant and intentional lie, he demonstrated that he was obviously untrustworthy to the entire nation but also to the world. On another subject, at the start of the Biden Administration, 3 percent of government workers worked remotely, while currently 90 percent work remotely. COVID is long gone. Obviously, many of these workers and their supervisors are gaming the system. Your tax dollars that are be wasted on this unacceptable inefficiency exemplifying the all-inclusive rot in Washington DC. Is it a surprise that the general public voted for a change to address and correct these and who knows how many more wasted dollars are currently occurring?
