STANFORD, Calif. - Just when the Arizona Wildcats' present looked dimmest Saturday, the future appeared. Going without upperclassmen Nic Wise and Jamelle Horne in a tie game during the final seconds at Stanford, the Wildcats instead were carried to a dramatic 71-69 win by younger players.

When MoMo Jones banked in a 16-footer to beat Stanford as time expired Saturday at Maples Pavilion, it was the fifth time this season that a Wildcats game had been decided in the final second.

Two games remain before Pac-10 honors are determined, but one major award may have been sewn up last weekend. Wildcats forward/center Derrick Williams further bolstered his candidacy for Pac-10 Freshman of the Year.
