West Coast scout and analyst Frank Burlison generated some reaction (and more here) when he wrote in Lindy’s basketball annual that Parker Jackson-Cartwright is the best pure point guard UA has landed since “perhaps Mike Bibby.”
Who is PJC up against? Of course, the Wildcats have had a lot of good guards since then but many of the starters at point guard have been shooting guards at heart.
Here’s the list of UA point guards since Bibby was taken No. 2 overall in the 1998 NBA Draft, with record and final postseason game listed:

There's more support surfacing for UA to retain McKale PA announcer Jonathan Norris according to our comments thread and Twitter.
One tweet from Aaron Shand said "It's insulting how it's being done. His voice has been synonymous with McKale for so many years."
Phoenix radio host Jody Oehler, a former UA football PA guy and Tucson radio host, tweeted: "Oh wow, Jonathan is a good guy. Bummer."
ESPN rates Arizona at No. 6 on a list of how programs will do in the next three seasons, saying that Sean Miller may have a tougher time recruiting in California now that Ben Howland (UCLA) and O'Neill (USC) are gone.
Not much change for UA commits or targets in ESPN's latest rankings of the 2015 class. All of the Wildcats' three commits are in the 17-27 range.
T.J. McConnell made SI.com's list of the top 20 guards in college basketball.
Sean Miller's radio show will start on Dec. 8.
