Jessica Miller and Melissa Stachovic combined for 27 points to lead the Lancers to a first-round win at Mountain View.
Salpointe (10-17) outshot Casa Grande in the first half and fended off the Cougars in the fourth quarter.

On the boys side, Tucson took a 10-point lead into halftime and held on for a four-point victory over Casa Grande at Mountain View.
